Family and Children's Service of Midland, Inc., serving the community since 1925, is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian, multi-service agency specializing in quality treatment and support services designed to nurture family relationships and enhance the well-being of individuals. Services include Pre and Post-Natal Services, Child Care Concepts, 4C Resource and Referral, Family Life Education, Youth Emergency Services, Family Service, and Employee Assistance Program.

The mission of the Agency is to provide the highest quality intervention, education, and counseling services to enhance the lives of families and individuals. The Agency's vision is a dynamic agency that meets the evolving and diverse needs of families and individuals through creative solutions that enrich quality of life.

Our history tells us that many years ago, one of our programs helped people sow seeds, grow crops, harvest and preserve the produce. In many ways, we're doing similar activities by teaching people techniques and giving them tools that help them solve their own problems now and throughout life.

With our diversified, educated and experienced staff, we're conducting groups and classes, engaging individuals and families in therapy, responding to emergency calls, aiding young women who are confused and frightened about unscheduled pregnancies, providing support to relative care givers and assisting parents in finding quality child care.

We're involved in collaborative efforts to enhance family life with the other agencies in Midland who participate in multi-agency efforts such as Midland Child Protection Council, Family Coordinating Council, Strong Families/Safe Children, and the Health and Human Services Council.

The Staff and Board of Family and Children's Service look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the future with enthusiasm and commitment.
